2026 What's New at WHOOP
What’s new on WHOOP
July 30, 2026
WHOOP gets better every week. This page is a running record of what we’ve shipped — new features, smarter algorithms, and improvements that make your data more accurate and your experience smoother. Check back regularly.
July 2026
Ask WHOOP for a chart of your trends
July 29 WHOOP AI can now turn trend questions into charts built for what you ask. Ask about how your data has changed over time, or how two metrics move together, and WHOOP shows the chart alongside a plain-language read on what it means.
Log your Journal by voice or text
July 29 You can now interact with WHOOP AI directly from the Journal page using voice or text. Mention behaviors in the conversation and WHOOP logs them for you; ask to add or remove a behavior and WHOOP guides you through the update before saving it.
More accurate heart rate where it’s hardest to measure
July 6 WHOOP has a new heart rate algorithm that improves accuracy across activities, with the biggest gains in weightlifting, functional fitness, HIIT, cycling, and golf. Because Strain is calculated from heart rate, some members may notice their Strain shift as the underlying heart rate data gets more accurate.
Fine-tune your activity timing with your heart rate
July 1 Editing an activity is now more precise on iOS. A heart rate graph is built directly into the Edit Activity screen, so you can scrub through your data to adjust exactly when an activity started and ended.
June 2026
Manage your activities right from chat
June 29 Add, edit, or delete an activity just by asking WHOOP in chat. If you logged the wrong workout or forgot to start one, tell WHOOP and it makes the fix — no menus required.
A new way to edit when your activity started and ended
June 25 On the Edit Activity screen, you can now scrub across your heart rate graph to set the precise start and end of an activity.
Fragmented activities, merged automatically
June 23 When WHOOP detects a single activity as several broken-up pieces, it now stitches them back together. If two detected activities end and start within 60 minutes of each other, WHOOP merges them into one.
Connect your health records with HealthEx
June 17 Connect your electronic health records securely through HealthEx and WHOOP can draw on clinical context like conditions, medications, procedures, and labs alongside your daily data.
May 2026
A deeper integration with Strava
May 21 WHOOP and Strava now work better together. Activities recorded on Strava import into WHOOP automatically.
